Noah

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. When God saw how corrupt the earth had become, He instructed Noah to build an ark to save his family and two of every kind of animal from the great flood.

For 120 years, Noah faithfully built the ark according to God's specifications. Despite mockery from others, he remained obedient. When the flood came, Noah, his family, and the animals were saved inside the ark.

After the waters receded, God made a covenant with Noah, promising never to destroy the earth with a flood again, sealing this promise with a rainbow in the sky.
