The Story
In the desert of Midian, while tending the flocks of his father-in-law Jethro, Moses witnessed an extraordinary sight: a bush that was burning with fire but was not consumed. As he drew closer, God spoke to him from within the fire.
God revealed Himself as "I AM WHO I AM" and commissioned Moses to deliver the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt. The place was so holy that God commanded Moses to remove his sandals from his feet.
The burning bush represents the presence of God — fire that purifies but does not destroy, holiness that consumes sin but preserves the repentant sinner.
